TWEET ME A STORY

NYCMIDNIGHT Tweet me a Story Contest
The haiku of short story contests!

Using Twitter guidelines of 140 characters, NYCMidnight ran a new contest last night. Write a story in 140 characters; includes punctuation and spaces. Placed in heats, we were then given a word to include in our story, and could abbreviate words as in texting. Each contestant submits 3 stories.
My word was "ATTIC". Here's my three tiny little stories, hope you enjoy them:

It was cramped in Mrs. Silver’s attic, but Dylan crouched, waiting to fulfill tomorrow’s headline; “Millionairess Murdered for Ice.”

Li stepped thru the odd attic door and fell into a sea of stars. Light years later, he finds his way home by way of a galactic basement.

In a dusty attic, among the forgotten, a secret lurks, lying in wait for the 7th son of a 7th son, on a moonlit midnight.
